In March 2022, Michael was appointed by the Board as the Company’s Chief Commercial Officer. He originally joined Arnold in October 2021 upon the Company’s acquisition of senseFly and was promptly appointed as Managing Director of the subsidiary. At senseFly, he is responsible for guiding and directing the business operations and leading senseFly as it combines operations with Arnold to grow its global footprint. Prior to the acquisition, he served as Head of Global Marketing for senseFly, responsible for overseeing all facets of marketing and business strategy, product management, technical support and training for the industry leading fixed wing drone company.
Michael brings Arnold more than two decades of proven leadership and global sales and marketing experience managing key growth initiatives for companies in a variety of industries, including advanced technology and drone markets.
From 2016 through 2019, Michael was Chief Commercial Officer of NVISO, a global leader in human behavior artificial intelligence software licensed worldwide to global manufacturers of user-centric products and service-based industries within the healthcare, automotive, consumer and financial services sectors. In 2014, he co-founded Darwin Digital, a full-service Swiss digital and marketing agency where he served as Head of Business Development through 2016. For the prior ten years, he rose through the ranks at British American Tobacco, beginning first as a Global Marketing Manager, and progressing to Director of Marketing, Sales and Distribution. Early in his career, Michael served as Sales & Brand Portfolio Manager for P.J. Carroll Company from 1996 through 2003.
Michael earned a Master’s degree in Marketing and Marketing Management from The Marketing Institute of Ireland.
